Product Description
The GL136 UV light is a hospital grade single UV germicidal light system designed for duct mounting in residential HVAC systems. The GL136 effectively reduces airborne viruses, bacteria, mold spores and allergens. Effective for any size residence up to a 5 ton HVAC system (2000 cfm-24x24 duct area). Efficiently uses only 36W of energy and plugs in with a factory supplied 110V cord. Warranty is 5 years on the unit/housing and 1 year on the bulb.
The unit housing is 7-1/4”W x 11”H x 2” thick. It requires a minimum duct depth of 17” and needs about 20” of clearance on the outside of the duct to insert the lamp into the duct. A minimum duct mounting surface of 7”x 5-1/2” is also required. It can be oriented in any position on the duct wall.
